  • Hanukkah (Jewish)
  • Three Kings Day/Epiphany (Christian)
  • Boxing Day (Australian, Canadian, English, Irish)
  • Kwanzaa (African American)
  • Omisoka (Japanese)
  • Yule (Pagan)
  • Saturnalia (Pagan)

That said, Happy Holidays to all my friends who, like me, love holiday cookies that not only taste good but actually make us feel good too! This is a list of some of my favorite healthy, holiday cookie recipes from my blog and other great bloggers.

Cookies are a must for me around the holidays.  It gives me the warm loving feeling of spending hours in the kitchen with my mother, sticking my fingers into the bowl of dough for a yummy taste.

All the recipes included are gluten-free, some dairy free, some vegan and others paleo. We all have different diets and I love giving you options for your preferences. You’ll find it easy to stay on your healthy eating program and still indulge in holiday cookies with recipes like these.

I‘ve chosen recipes that are not too complicated with ingredients commonly found your kitchen if you follow my blog. In my opinion, chocolate chip cookies are the queen of cookies, therefore, I have included 2 of my own recipes, one vegan, and one paleo. Both are delicious.

Other great recipes I’ve included are Gingerbread Men, Grain Free Dark Chocolate Dipped Biscotti, Mexican Wedding Cookies, Chocolate Dipped Orange Macaroons, and how about Healthy Chocolate Homemade Marshmallows. One of the easiest cookies to make are my own Chocolate and Raspberry Thumbprint cookies. Pick a few and indulge yourself in these delicious holiday cookies for a warm, cozy, fun holiday. You’ll find it easy to stick with your healthy eating lifestyle.
