Description
A berry green smoothie full of nutrients and delicious enough for anyone to enjoy.
Ingredients
Scale
- 10 ounces unsweetened almond, coconut, hemp milk or water
- 1 cup frozen organic strawberries
- 1⁄2 green (unripe) banana
- ½ small beet
- 1 large handful kale (de-stemmed), spinach or romaine
- 1 teaspoon unrefined virgin coconut oil
- 1 serving of hemp, collagen or whey protein powder
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds* or chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon organic vanilla
- Stevia or maple syrup taste (optional)
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients until smooth.
- Taste add sweetener if desired.
Notes
Nutrition analysis is using water and collagen. A small green banana or 1/2 large banana has 17 grams of resistant starch.
Store ground flax seeds in the refrigerator or buy whole golden flax seeds and grind fresh in a spice grinder.
The protein powders listed don’t have any stevia or vanilla, you may want to add a little for more sweetness.
