goji Berry TeaThis summer drink is refreshing and deeply nourishing.  Goji berries are a superfood packed with vegetarian protein and rich in Vitamin A.  They have been used in Asian herbal medicine for over 5,000 years to enhance health. Read full article about the nutritional benefits of goji berries.

In this recipe the sweet goji berries are infused into a tea and mixed with lemon juice. You wind up with a lemonade that doesn’t require any sweetener.  Its a refreshing, vitalizing drink you can enjoy all summer long.

Use the plump goji berries left over when you finish making the tea in a smoothie like the  Goji Berry Strawberry Chia Smoothie.  I like to add them to energy bars, try Goji Berry Enregy Bites.

Description

Sweet goji berry tea is mixed with fresh lemon juice to make a refreshing and deeply nourishing summer drink.

  4. Strain off water from berries and chill.
  5. Reserve the berries for another use.
  6. Add lemon juice
  7. Serve cold with a sprig of mint.

Your recipe is really great, the taste is delicious. Have you ever tried Goji Berry PUREE? That is great too, it will benefit our body more than making tea with DRIED goji berries, because all the peocess making Goji Berry Puree make sure to retain all the nutrients and goji berry polysaccharide to the maximum degree.
