Ingredients

- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1/2 – 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- zest of 1 organic orange
- 4 cardamom pods
Instructions
- Bring all ingredients to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Reduce to a simmer and cook uncovered for 10-15 minutes until all cranberries have popped out of their skins and sauce thickens.
- Fish out cardamom pods and cinnamon, discard.
- For best flavor, refrigerate overnight and serve warm or at room temperature
