Green Hemp BarsThese energy bars are full of protein and minerals. They are a perfect snack or meal replacement to give you energy in the middle of the day.

The green powder provides the minerals you need to alkalize your body.

Hemp seeds are considered the “perfect protein,” because they contain all 20 amino acids, 9 of which our bodies cannot produce.

Pumpkin seeds are high in magnesium to calm your nervous system and support your adrenal glands.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup chopped dates
  • ½ cup pistachios
  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¾ cup shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup hemp seeds
  • ¼ cup cacao butter or coconut oil melted
  • ½ tsp green powder or spirulina

Instructions

  1. Place dates in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Let soak for 10 minutes or until soft. Drain and dry on a paper towel.
  2. Put the pistachios, pumpkin seeds, coconut and dates into the foods processor. Process until the mixture gets crumbly and begins to come together.
  3. Add in hemp seeds and process.
  4. Put into a medium bowl. Add in the coconut oil and green powder.
  5. Line an 8” square pyrex pan with parchment. Press into an even thickness.
  6. Chill for 2 hours, slice into 12 squares.
  7. Keep in an air tight container for a few days or freeze.
