Description
A creamy, silky chocolate mousse decadent enough for dessert and healthy enough for breakfast.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe avocados
- 4–6 tablespoons raw cacao powder, more or less to taste
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup organic maple syrup (or other sweetener), to taste
- 2 teaspoons organic vanilla extract
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup water, coconut milk or almond milk
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients into a food processor or heavy-duty blender.
- Process until smooth and creamy.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate.
- Top with berries and/or coconut whipped cream
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days but it probably won’t last that long.
Notes
The amount of sweetener and maple syrup will depend on the size and taste of your avocados. Start with the smaller amount, taste and add more if necessary.
