Description
A healthy pudding full of fiber and antioxidants great for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups almond milk or hemp milk (homemade if possible)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey or 12 drops stevia
- 1 tsp organic vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder or 1 teaspoon wild harvested matcha
- 6 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1/2 cup berries for topping, optional
Instructions
- Blend the nut milk with the maple syrup, vanilla and matcha
- Put the chia seeds in a medium bowl, large enough to hold all the liquid.
- Pour the blended mixture over the chia seeds. Stir.
- Let sit for 15 minutes stirring every five minutes until the chia begins to absorb the liquid.
- Let the mixture sit at least 1 hour at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator, covered.
- Stir before serving.
- Top with berries.
Notes
Nutrition information is with homemade almond milk and maple syrup.
There is no cooking, the chia pudding need to sit for at least 1 hour to thicken.
