I love hemp milk. I use it in my morning Matcha Green Tea Latte daily. Regular homemade nut milks are a bit of work to make. You have to soak the nuts and strain them through a nut milk bag after blending. Hemp milk is easy. You put the hemp seeds in the blender with filtered water and blend. That is it, super easy. The seeds get pulverized and are hardly noticeable, no straining required. It will keep your refrigerator for about 5 days.
Hemp is a superfood. It is hypoallergenic. Some people are sensitive to nuts and seeds but hemp is considered a low-to-no allergen food. Most people do not have a reaction to it but always start with a small amount to test first.
Hemp seeds are rich in both omega-6 and omega-3 essential fatty acids in a healthy three-to-one ratio. They are in the form of alpha-linolenic acid or ALA.
Hemp is also loaded with fiber and phytosterols, as well as a plethora of vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium, ascorbic acid, beta-carotene, calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorus, riboflavin, niacin, thiamin and vitamin E.

The seeds and milk also contain 10 essential amino acids. They are a great source of protein and are very high in edestin, which is a simple protein that is responsible for the proper function of the immune system. Hemp seed is also more digestible than other sources of protein (including meat, dairy, and eggs).
It’s not marijuana. The plant that is grown for hemp seeds is a different variety than is grown for marijuana. Hemp milk does not contain THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychoactive component of marijuana.
Switch from dairy milk to hemp milk to promote a balanced pH. Hemp milk is alkaline, healthy and delicious.

- Blend for 3 minutes in a Viatmix or 5 minutes in a regular blender.
- Refrigerate for up to 5 days.
There may be a tiny bit of pulp left. If you want your hemp milk to be completely free of any pulp at all, strain it through a nut milk bag.
