Amazing 3 Minute Peach Salad

By September 2, 2019June 23rd, 2020Farm to Table, Gluten Free, Paleo, Raw, Salads, Seasonal

This is my favorite way to eat a fresh peach. It’s incredibly simple and oh-so-delicious.

I hope you’re having a great Labor Day weekend.

The peaches that have been ripening on my counter are ready to eat.   Of course I could take that peach in my hand, stand outside on the lawn, lean over slightly and slurp it down.

But I’ve discovered an amazing new way to eat a peach.

I sprinkle sliced peaches with Celtic sea salt which draws sugars to the surface. Then I drizzle a little olive oil to thicken the juice. Finally, I add black pepper and fresh basil to give it an exciting taste.

Even though it is local from the farmer’s market, I peel off the skin but it’s not necessary if your peaches are organic.

Enjoy the recipe! It’s…

  • quick
  • easy
  • delicious
  • nutritious
  • exciting

Great for breakfast, snack or dessert!
