Wonderful Green Juice

greenjuice2I have been craving green juice lately, it must be the warmer weather. Here is one of my favorite easy juices

1/2 bunch celery
3 handfuls spinach or other dark green leafy vegetable like kale, swiss chard or romaine
1 cucumber
1 lemon peeled if not organic
1 green apple
1 handful parsley

Put everything in through a juicer. Enjoy immediately or store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for later. This will stay for 24 hours.

If you don’t have a juicer you can blend everything and put it through a nut milk bag or cheese cloth to extract the juice. Add 1 cup of water and peel the lemon first.  Here is a video to show you how.

      Hi Phillis
Great, so good to get our children into filling their bodies with nourishing food. They will apprecite is all of their life. What they see you doing is what they will return to even if they go through a rebellious period. Thank you for your feedback. Keep with it and your “good” cells will turn on.

Ingrid, I tried this Wonderful Green Juice this afternoon. It is well named – wonderful and tasty! This time when I was making the juice, I cut every thing up first and plopped it in a large bowl. It was easier and seems faster than the first few times I prepared the green juice. I really like that energy pick-me-up-that comes from drinking the juice mid-afternoon!

Thank you, also, for the generous sharing of your recipes.

I agree, your free webinars are outstanding and so full of practical, easy to do suggestions! Turning on Your Genes for Good Health is a wonderful resource. I listened to it again this morning!

Thank you Anna, I love the idea of putting it all in a bowl to make it easier. We will share that information on the cleanse with everyone. Isn’t it amazing what a great pick me up the juice is in the afternoon.

I am glad you found the information from the Webinar is so helpful.

This terrific recipe prompted me to buy a juicer and now I’m never without my Wonderful Green Juice. I do the same as Anna, and chop up all the ingredients and place them in a bowl prior to juicing.
