There are 7 Chakras or energy centers in our body which energy flows through. Each chakra is associated with a different color. We want our energy to be flowing freely through all the chakras or energy centers.

The various color carry different vibrations and we need them all. We need to be experiencing all the colors.
Eating a rainbow of colored food fills our body with the varieties of nutrients we need to thrive.
Choose brightly colored fruits and vegetables that are colored all the way through, rather than brightly colored only on the skin. For example a red fruit would be a strawberry not an apple. The big benefit of deeply colored produce is that the color is a sign of a high concentration of antioxidants. Free radicals cause our body to break down, but antioxidants nullify those free radicals before they cause any damage.
