How Much Do You Love Your Body?

Over the last few years it has become increasingly clear to me that my relationship with my body is key to my health and happiness.

In any good relationship there has to be a flow of giving and receiving. Think of your partner or friend, the more you are able to receive love from them the more love you want to give to them.  But if you are just giving love and never receiving it there are problems. If you are just receiving and not giving it is also out of balance.   It is the same with our body and ourselves.

When we open up to feeling love from our body we open up to loving it more. When we love our body we are willing to listen to it, take care of it protect it and cherish it. The more open we are to receiving love from our body the more we can hear the messages it is sending us.

In the following tapping video, we tap to expand and deepen our relationship with our body.  Personally, tapping has expanded my ability to love my body and feel my body loves and supports me. It is the most powerful shift of energy I have experienced in years.  It has improved my health. I hope you enjoy it.  Let me know your thoughts below.

Today I want to talk about one of the most important relationships we have, our relationship with our body.

Do you believe your body loves you? When we believe our body loves us, we feel supported.   We have a deep sense of being loved and cared for.  A feeling of safety.

Do you love your body?  When we love body we take good care of it. We are inspired to eat health foods and have fun exercising.  A loving relationship with our body allows us to hear the messages it is sending us.

Consider the idea that when we experience health problems or struggle with what we eat ,it is an invitation to bring some healing to this relationship.

The most beautiful thing about our body is it has a deep knowing about what we truly need for health and happiness. We need to be in a loving relationship with our body to hear those messages.

Lets start by taking a nice deep breath, (1 2)I want you to close your eyes and tune into your body.  Feel how it feels sitting on the chair, feel the temperature of the room on your skin. Really feel your body.

I want you to Say out loud my body loves me.  My body loves me.
How true does that feel on a scale of 1-10  with 1 being not true at all and 10 being completely true.  Make note of that number.  Also notice any thoughts that come up when you say my body loves me.

When I first did this I realized I didn’t believe my body was on my side. With tapping I was able to clear away the blocks and begin to feel how much my body really loves and supports me  I love this process. I have help lots of clients open up to knowing their body does truly loves them.

I want you to take another nice deep breath and tune back into your body say out loud.
I love my body. I love my body.

This is the other side of this relationship How true does the statement feel?  I love my body feel on the scale of 1-10.  Make note of that number

I hear from my clients things like I can’t love my body when I have this fat on my belly or I can’t love my body when I have this pain.  Maybe you feel your body has disappointed you.  When you look in the mirror do love you body or criticize it.

Can you see how these feelings affect this very important relationship  we have with our body

Now lets do some tapping to expand and deepen this relationship.

Starting on the karate chop point repeat after me:

Even though am not sure that my body really loves and that makes me sad, I accept myself with compassion.

Even though it is hard for me to love my body when it isn’t the way I want it to be I forgive myself for that and love and accept myself anyhow.

Even though my relationship with my body  isn’t the way I want it to be  I am glad I have seen this and I am open to healing this relationship with love and compassion.

MOVING TO THE EYE BROW then switching points with each sentence..

I am not sure my body loves me
It isn’t behaving the way I want it to
If my body was on my side
I wouldn’t struggle with my weight
It is hard for me to believe my body really loves me
It doesn’t feel the way I want it to
Sometimes it feel stiff and in pain
I am constantly struggling with my body, I wished my body loved me and took care of me

DEEP BREATH

Back to the eyebrow…

The truth is I reject my body
I want to love it
But it’s hard to love my body the way it is
It’s not the way I want it to be
I have this negative voice that criticizes my body
Pointing out all of my flaws
It is judging me all the time
Telling me everything that is wrong with my body

DEEP BREATH

Back to the karate chop…

Even though I am not sure my body loves me
I choose to feel loved and adored
Even though I have a hard time loving my body
I am open to loving my body just the way it is

Tapping through the points…

Wow my eyes are really opened up now
To this relationship with my body
How much I hold back from loving my body
These feelings that my body is not on my side
I want my body to love and take care of me
Then I would love my body more
As I observe this, I become conscious
And in the gift of consciousness
I can make a new choice.
The truth is in this moment
I feel my body
I am completely safe
I am alive
I am Vibrant
I am Powerful
I honor my body
Every cell in my body
Functioning miraculously
My body takes care of me every day
I don’t even have to ask
My body loves me so much
I was given the gift of this life, this body
Every day my body cares for my needs
My lungs breathe
My heart beats
My stomach digests
My body walks and sleeps
My body truly love me
I honor all the things my body does for me
I feel great love for my body
I feel how much my body loves me
How much it cares for me
I love my body
For all the work it does to keep me alive
It is wonderful to feel this love in my heart
I love my body and my body loves me.

DEEP BREATH

NOW Notice how you feel when you say “my body loves me” what is your number what is your number when you say “I love my body”.

The numbers should have gone up   You can continue to tap on the specific things that have come up for you to shift ever more.

I hope this tapping helps you open up to a more loving relationship with your body

      It is such a powerful experience to love your body and feel loved unconditionally by your body. As you feel into it regularly the love expands, you feel healthier and have more energy. Thanks for sharing.
